Is it really that uncommon for someone to put up their Christmas tree before Thanksgiving? I mean, really, Thanksgiving is great and all, but it’s just a glorified meal. Christmas is globally celebrated in different ways for quite a while instead of just Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Christmas is much more important to me than Thanksgiving will ever be. Plus, I like to think that I have an attractive tree, so I like to enjoy it for as long as I can. Also, having a 2 year old son is also an influence. Christmas is a magical time for a child. Plus it’s a new tree in our new house and I was little more eager than usual to do it.
