How to Unlock A BlackBerry

Disclaimer: These are simply the steps used to unlock your BlackBerry assuming that you already have the unlock codes.
- 1. Turn off all of the wireless connections (manage connections – turn all connections off)
- 2. Go to the Options icon on the device
- 3. Select Advanced Options
- 4. Select SIM Card
- 5. On a Storm, hit Menu key to select Show Keyboard, on a QWERTY/SureType, advance to Step 6.
- 6. Type “mepd” (keep in mind that you won’t be able to see what you type)
- 7. Then type the letters “mep2″
- 8. Now it will say ‘Enter network mep code’
- 9. At this time you’ll have to put in your unlock code.
- 10. Enable your wireless connection with the new sim card inside and you’re good to go.
