Yay! So they’re beginning to lay the foundation. The blocks and gravel are there and next they should be pouring the concrete. I spoke to the builder today and he said that the plumber will be there tomorrow and then hopefully by this time next week, they will have had the foundation poured and will be starting the framing. Pretty amazing. I’ve never closely paid attention to the building of a home before… probably because I didn’t care since none were mine until now. I hope the weather holds out so that they can stay on schedule and hopefully get everything built before the proposed closing date.

In this picture, the house in the background that’s being built was in the stage ours is now just last week! It’s amazing how quickly these things are going up! So, hopefully, next week, our house will be looking like the one in the background, but better!
