I’ve just upgraded my Bold to the newest version of Facebook. Version 1.6

It seems like they come out with a newer version every month. On the last update, it allowed you to synch your BlackBerry contacts and calendar with your Facebook contact and calendar. All that still remains with the new version, but they’ve added slideshow photo viewing, the ability to comment on friends’ photos and a new ‘notifications’ tab. It’s more like being on the website now, rather than being on a mobile application.

I haven’t taken any screenshots of the app from my own phone, but if I spot anything really worth the time to screenshot, I’ll certainly do so.
