I’ve always wondered how my Netflix movies were distributed. Thanks to Facebook’s Netflix Fan Page, now I know… and knowing is… HALF THE BATTLE!


With 10.3 million members, there’s a whole lot of mail-sorting done every day at all of 58 Netflix distribution centers.


Here’s a peek at the envelope sorting process. Netflix ships approximately 2.2 million DVDs on a typical day.


Quality control: The Netflix team works hard to make sure scratched or damaged discs are removed from the inventory


Netflix sleeve labels are carefully applied by hand. 89 million DVDs in inventory …


And off they go … on their way to you! Netflix Ships more than 95 percent of its inventory every 3 months.
