If you haven’t heard about the new BlackBerry Messenger, you probably shouldn’t call yourself a BlackBerry addict. Otherwise, I’ll educate the underprivileged by showing you a video about the new BlackBerry Messengrt and also some screenshots from my very own BlackBerry… how you ask? Because it has been leaked thanks to BlackBerryOS.com. You’ll have to download it with the links below and upload it to your ‘Berry via the application loader on the desktop manager.  OTA download links are at the very bottom and link to my new blog entry with the links.

Add the ability for an avatar/profile image.

Edit your information with a better interface and better status/availability settings.

Chat pretty much almost looks the same, but you can see their avatar and have easier access to smilies.

Same old smilies and a few new ones including the USA flag and Canada flag.

Stay up to date with your contacts’ status updates, much like Facebook.
