Recap of My 3 Day Weekend

Before reading this blog entry, please read the entry summarizing what all I had hoped to achieve.

Did I achieve everything on the list? No.

As much as I wish I could have, I was unable to clean the house. Normally, this is a priority and how I spend my Fridays, but this time, there were other things that had to be done.

Some things were moved to different days. Like Sean’s haircut and shopping. We did some shopping Saturday night after our Sweetest Day dinner as a family and then Sean’s haircut happened Sunday before our Fall Family Photos and our Annual Fall Pumpkin Patch Family Tradition. I must say, Sean looks super cute. This was the best of all the haircuts he’s gotten, too.

We got Sean’s pumpkin at the pumpkin patch in Lebanon and some locally grown Golden Delicious Apples (my favorite) and some extremely tasty sugar cookies. Nom! There will be no pumpkin carving for at least another week though. I have decided that it’s still too early to carve pumpkins and would rather not have them rot on my front porch. But, when I do carve mine, I will most definitely be posting a photo because it. is. going. to. be. AWESOME!

Unfortunately, we were unable to finish our pottery at The Mad Potter and we never had company over. There was just way too much going on this weekend. Also, family/Sean photos was great. We got a lot of great shots and as soon as I have them, you know I will add them to an album in the photo gallery and some of my favorites will go here.

Oh, and I did get something that needed to be done taken care of that wasn’t on the list. I found someone to custom make Sean’s 2nd Birthday cake! I’m pretty thrilled about that because I was starting to stress since his birthday is just around the corner.
