This Is Why My Husband Rocks!

28 Days Until Christmas!

I was having a horrid day. Probably one of the worst days I’ve had in a long, long time! My husband knew this, so he thought he would cheer me up with buying me one of my favorite candies and Wrath of the Lich King! Needless to say, it worked!

I think it’s safe to say that I have the best husband ever!

Can’t escape typos in Azeroth!

Apparently in the World of Warcraft, when you coat a weapon with poison and poison a target, they have to pay you $40 and it can even stack up to five times equalling out to $200.

I’m used to typos in everyday life — newspapers, co-workers doing it, etc. But in my digital online gaming life, this is a first, with the exception of n00bs and toolbags spamming the general chats and trade channel. I will definitely be checking back tonight to see if that is still there! I had to share!

Fall Festivities

Our first family tradition went off with a bang! We took Sean to Burger Farm (No, they do not grow hamburgers!) and he seemed to enjoy himself, so much in fact that he fell asleep on the hayride before he was able to pick out his pumpkin!

Sean saw his first puppet show, got a balloon animal (a mouse) from a clown, etc.

Above is my goofy painted pumpkin! These days I prefer to paint my pumpkins rather than carve them. I can be more creative and keep it cleaner and safer, which is good when you have a kid that will one day want to paint their own pumpkin. I am much more likely to give him a paintbrush rather than a knife!

I/We have yet to paint Sean’s pumpkin. I think I might actually have him do some brush strokes himself or even put some hand prints on it. We’ll have to see!

So, Sean, fell asleep on the 10 minute hayride to the pumpkin patch. Above is the result!

On another note. I have to explain an irritation that occurred exactly at midnight last night. I was playing World of Warcraft with my usual friends and were hitting up a dungeon pretty hardcore. We were about halfway through and exactly at the drop of midnight, my cable goes out along with my internet. I got friggin’ disconnected in the middle of a dungeon! WTF?!

I began wondering… “Did we pay the bill”? I run in to our bedroom, wake up Chris and ask him if we paid the bill! I had no way way of checking since my internet was down and I don’t have a number to call. He wasn’t sure. Hell, Chris wasn’t even awake when I asked him! He was sleep talking to me.

I frantically run around looking for our bill! It’s so hard to keep track of these things. We have a lot of bills and they’re always paid though. Finally, I found the bill. The due date reads, “October 27, 2008″. Ok? So, what happened? The only thing I was able to do was watch DVR’d episodes of Ghost Hunters, Jon & Kate +8 and Star Trek:TNG.

In an attempt to get back in the game, I try to hackzor someone else’s wifi connection. I thought I had succeeded. I was successful for about 20 seconds and then I got disconnected! FAIL!

So today, on my lunch break, I will have to call and figure out what the deal is! Grr!

Where have I been? Azeroth!

This is my first blog entry for the month of October and we are already in the middle of the month. Where have I been? Well, I’ve been in a little place called Azeroth protecting the Alliance against the Horde in World of Warcraft.

I’m a seasoned veteran of two years and I’ve been dividing my WoW time between two servers, PvP and PvE. Both of which I am a Nightelf Rogue. I have a level 55 and a 21. I am very impartial to being a Rogue.

Excuse my absence but if you want to urge me to blog more, drop me a line of some sort.

Upcoming events. This weekend my husband, sister, brother-in-law, Andrey and myself are somewhat planning celebrating Halloween with a haunted bus ride. Should be interesting. I love Halloween and being scared is great.

The following day will be the start of our first annual family tradition. Chris, Sean and I will be heading to the local pumpkin patch to hand pick our first pumpkins as a family. I plan to do this every year to create everlasting memories for my son and any future children.

I don’t quite remember any family traditions from my childhood and I’d like to avoid that with my son. I want him to be able to remember all the good times throughout the years and have something to look forward to as the years go on.

Stay tuned for pictures and possibly video from our tradition.

No Clever title

As of this exact moment, I have a terrible headache. Luckily, it’s Saturday and I’m not at work. There isn’t/wasn’t much on my agenda for today and I enjoy it like that as much as possible.

So far, the only productive thing I’ve done is take my car to get it washed. I love free car washes for life. The stupid thing is that the car wash I have to go to is great and all, but as soon as you pull out of the car wash, you have to drive through dirt. A little bass ackwards, you think? For the most part it’s a good wash, with the exception that almost the entire rear of my car was pretty much ignored. Can’t really complain though. It was a free car wash.

I had intended to clean out the inside of my car while Sean was taking his daily nap, but I got sidetrack with editing a video and pretty much just procrastinating and screwing off.

Currently, I’m blogging [obviously] and watching Bubble Boy on Comedy Central while Sean plays in his play pen. I should probably be cleaning and doing wifely things since we’re supposed to have people over tonight for the weekly game night.

Not to toot my own horn, but here’s a picture of the TV after I kicked some major ass in movie trivia playing Scene It on XBox 360.

Oh and as an extra treat, I thought I’d share that mine and my husband’s cell phone account is 1337!
